Situated in the heart of Vermont, Killington is the biggest ski area in New England - you can ski all day, every day, and never see the same trail twice. Recently celebrating its 40th birthday Killington now boasts more than 2,000 snow cannons and is famous for having one of the world's most powerful snow making systems. Killington is known to have opened trails in early October and kept them open through to late June in cold years!

Killington combines great skiing with beautiful scenery characteristic of New England, making it an ideal American ski holiday destination. Intermediates will get the most from Killington, with 40% of its trails designated for this level of skier, but there is also plenty of terrain for everybody across its seven peaks and 200 trails. Killington ski mountain is the perfect size for all skiers and riders, from novice to master. Killington is also a top rated destination for boarders, with its massive and diverse terrain, predominance of high-capacity chair and gondola lifts, two snowboard parks, three half-pipes and one of the largest teams of snowboard coaching staff in the world. It features the K-Pipe, one of the best pipes in North America, the Peace Pipe for beginners and the half-pipe at Pico giving riders a chance to practice without the big audience.

And when your day on the slopes is done, the world famous Killington Road is waiting – with over 100 restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs, shops and music venues for a variety of après ski action. If you take a day off skiing, there are traditional New England towns nearby (including Woodstock) and the factory outlet shops in Manchester are also well worth a visit.
