During the winter we run our family skiing holidays.  We have group skiing and snowboarding holidays at a variety of ski resorts in Europe and the US, particularly suited to families.

Whichever type of holiday you are looking for, with Acorn you revel in a fantastic atmosphere and, of course, experience lots of new adventures, have fabulous memories, and make some wonderful new friends!

Calling Single Parent Families!

We have some fixed departures on our summer activity holidays which are exclusively for Single Parent families. These single parent family holidays have doubled in popularity in each of the past two years and feedback is always fabulous. Despite having more on offer, we expect them to sell out quickly this year. Click here to see the selection.

2 The outdoor life in Brecon

Just north of the Welsh town of Abergavenny lie the Brecon Beacons, home to Acorn Adventures (0800 074 9791, www.acornfamilyholidays.co.uk), which sells all-inclusive, multi-activity family camping trips under the tag line: "No more boring holidays". Sleeping in safari-style tents at the Tan Troed camp site, you'll wake up to three sessions a day of more than 18 outdoor pursuits. "So many opportunities to get wet," smirks the blurb, but nobody's forcing you to test that raft you build.

Usually, while we entertain the children!
