Launches the Paddlepower Award Scheme
Add a PADDLEPOWER course
for just £14.50 per person
We are very pleased to launch the PADDLEPOWER Award Scheme at our specialist watersports centres. PADDLEPOWER is an exciting scheme, designed to encourage people to enjoy and progress in the sport. Now everyone on an Acorn holiday will be encouraged to make progress in the sport, and to be rewarded for their achievements.
About the scheme
The PADDLEPOWER Award scheme comprises 5 Awards to support a paddler’s introduction to and progress in Paddlesports. During an Acorn holiday you can progress to Level 2 of PADDLEPOWER Passport.
PADDLEPOWER Start
From this year, everyone with Acorn can automatically undertake a taster session and assessment that will cover an Entry Level award - PADDLEPOWER Start. For successful participants we will issue a Canoe England certificate free of charge!
PADDLEPOWER Passport
If you’re up for it, you can also choose to undertake a second course and therefore progress to the PADDLEPOWER Passport! Those who choose this will be put through a further or extended course which will introduce further competencies, skills and knowledge, and those who pass will be issued with their PADDLEPOWER Passport and appropriate credits, which can be used to advance their skills and gain further awards after returning from holiday.
Enrol on the PADDLEPOWER scheme in advance and save!
You can save money by enrolling on the PADDLEPOWER Passport scheme in advance of your holiday at only £14.50pp. Alternatively the PADDLEPOWER Passport course may be purchased on centre for £20.00pp, although this availability will be limited.
